COUSINS CAMP 2012 -- Sunday
The cousins had decided that they wanted to go to the 8:30 worship service. So we told them that they would need to be up by 7 o'clock for breakfast. We heard an alarm go off at 6. I don't know how, but they were all awake at breakfast. And we got to church early.
Luke chose Casa Ole for lunch. We all ate too much, which I always do there. It's all those chips we eat before the meal comes.
When we got home the kids had a very short game of 42 after which everyone found a place to take a little nap. Everyone but Luke and Gracie.
Misty lay on the couch all afternoon, but when I asked her how she felt, she'd say, "I'm fine."
A little swimming, a little 42. A lazy Sunday afternoon,
Grandad cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. And Luke chose oatmeal whoopie pies for dessert. They were yummy.
The movie of the night was Clue.
I'm going to put on my "I mean it" face tonight and insist that they go to sleep. There are enough corners in this house for all of them. Hee, hee, hee.
